Umbra
Overview
Umbra is a study in restrained luminosity. A black circle sits suspended within a frosted acrylic volume, its edges dissolved by a blue LED glow rising from behind. The light never reveals itself directly—it diffuses, softens, and refracts through the acrylic shell, creating a quiet halo that feels atmospheric rather than graphic. The piece reads less as an object and more as a presence: subtle, architectural, and deliberately unresolved.
