Shipping Policy
At Interior Moderna, we take pride in ensuring that every order is handled with care from the moment it's placed to the time it arrives at your door. Please review the following information regarding our shipping practices and policies.
Processing Time
Most orders are processed within 1–3 business days. Some custom or made-to-order items may require additional processing time, which will be clearly noted on the product and checkout pages.
Shipping Costs & Delivery
Shipping costs are reflected at checkout based on your location and the items in your order. Although shipping rates across the industry have increased significantly, we are committed to keeping our shipping costs affordable. As part of that commitment, we now subsidize a portion of shipping costs to help reduce the burden on our customers.
Once your order ships, a tracking number will be emailed to you. Please note that we are not responsible for delivery delays caused by shipping carriers, weather events, or customs processing.
Delivery Responsibility
It is the customer’s responsibility to ensure the shipping address entered at checkout is complete, accurate, and accessible. If your building requires a gate code, special delivery instructions, or has limited access, those details must be provided during checkout to avoid failed delivery attempts.
If a package cannot be delivered due to address errors, access issues, or is not retrieved from a carrier pickup location, it may be returned to us. Please refer to the Return to Sender Policy below.
Failed to Deliver / Return to Sender Policy
If a shipment is returned to Interior Moderna due to any of the following:

An incorrect or incomplete shipping address provided at checkout

Inaccessibility or failure to provide necessary delivery instructions

Failure to retrieve the package from a pickup location
…the customer is responsible for all related shipping costs, including:

The return-to-sender fee charged by the carrier

The cost to reship the package
Once the returned item is received, we will contact you with reshipment options. If you choose not to have the order resent, we can issue a refund minus all shipping-related fees. Please note that you will be charged the real carrier rate for that specific package - not our standard original shipment checkout rate.
Damaged or Lost Shipments
If your item arrives damaged, or if your package is lost in transit, please notify us within 72 hours of the delivery date or estimated delivery date. We will initiate a claim with UPS on your behalf, or alternatively you can opt to file the claim yourself. All claims must go through the official carrier process, and resolution times may vary depending on the carrier’s investigation.

Please keep all original packaging and contents while the claim is being processed, as the carrier may request inspection.
Freight Delivery Policy for Custom Oversized Items
At Interior Moderna, certain custom-made or oversized items are delivered via freight shipping due to their size and weight. These deliveries are curbside only, and require a scheduled appointment and adult signature upon delivery.
Important Details:

Once your order is ready to ship, the freight carrier will contact you to schedule a delivery appointment.

All freight deliveries are made curbside. This means the item will be delivered to the nearest accessible point at the front of your property or building—not brought inside.

An adult (18+) must be present to sign for the delivery during the scheduled time window.
Failed Deliveries
If a delivery attempt fails due to customer-related reasons—such as:

No one being present during the scheduled window

Refusal of the shipment

Inaccessibility due to incorrect address or gate codes

Missed appointment or failure to reschedule in time
Then the customer will be held responsible for:

Any re-delivery or storage fees charged by the freight carrier

All costs associated with organizing a new shipment
We are not liable for these additional charges. To avoid unnecessary fees, please ensure availability during your scheduled delivery and verify all address details before your order ships.
