Ember Ascension

The Ember Ascension is a hand-painted backlit canvas built from dense layers of poured and dripped pigment in reds, ambers and molten orange, shot through with fine black tracery. A concealed 3000K warm LED array lights the canvas from behind, so the poured strands turn translucent and the whole field reads like banked coals beginning to catch. Worked entirely by hand, the layered paint holds real depth — strands cross and pool so the light finds different paths through the surface. Switched off it sits as a warm, energetic abstract; switched on it smolders, casting a soft amber glow onto the wall around it. It belongs where warmth and intensity are wanted — a low-lit lounge, a stairwell, or a wall meant to hold heat after dark.
