Rose Flux maps the Linear Shift technique onto a palette of measured warmth — blush and rose tones that shift between pale and saturated as they wrap the sphere's curve. The hand-painted surface is built by applying successive layers of color through tape masking on fiberglass, each stripe exposed only when the tape is removed — a process that produces edges of near-mechanical precision. The result is a tonal field of directional lines that follow the sphere's geometry in soft, radiating rhythm, each band slightly different in weight depending on the pass that produced it. A gloss resin seal finishes the surface, drawing the color deeper and giving the form a translucent warmth that shifts perceptibly across the hours of light. This is not a soft piece — its palette is restrained, its execution deliberate, and its presence on a wall is fully earned.
