Chromatic Uprising

The Chromatic Uprising is a backlit rainbow abstract canvas — a full-spectrum wash of red, orange, yellow, green and blue overlaid with dense black gestural linework, framed in slim matte black. A concealed 3000K LED array lights the pigment from behind, so the color shifts from painted to luminous and throws a soft chromatic halo across the surrounding wall. The surface is worked by hand, color laid down and then drawn through, so the tangled black strands read as shadow against the glow. Switched off it holds the wall as a graphic color study; switched on it becomes a quiet light source in its own right. Built to hang along its long axis in either direction, it anchors a dim hallway, a stairwell, or a living wall where color is meant to carry the room.
