We design for the world as it could be.
Where it started.
Interior Moderna began with a desire to make furniture that starts with the material rather than the category: sculptural, built to the presence of work that sits behind gallery glass, and made for rooms people actually live in.
The studio was founded in 2022 on that opportunity. Gallery-grade objects, developed with the discipline of a design house and sold without the apparatus that usually sits between the work and the room. With no heritage to borrow, we built the practice in the open, releasing in small runs. The work accumulates its own history, one piece at a time.
A home can be a gallery of its own.
Gallery-grade design belongs in rooms, not only in showrooms, fairs, and collections. We make furniture, lighting, mirrors, and wall art at that caliber and sell it direct from the studio, so more rooms can hold objects with real presence. Like any collection worth keeping, they're chosen to anchor a room, not fill it.
From a sketch to a room.
Every piece here started as a drawing, and the drawing kept changing until it was right. We take the long route in exactly the places that matter.
