About · Humanist Futurism

We design for the world as it could be.

Origin

Where it started.

Interior Moderna began with a frustration: the furniture worth living with, the pieces with real presence, sat behind gallery glass and out of reach, while everything within reach had been flattened into commodity, into safe silhouettes, disposable materials, and rooms that all resolved to the same beige.

The studio was founded in 2022 to work in the gap: gallery-grade objects, developed with the discipline of a design house and priced for real rooms. We had no heritage story to borrow, so we built the practice in the open, releasing in small runs. The work accumulates its own history, one piece at a time.

Belief

A home can be a gallery of its own.

For most of the last century, gallery-grade design has lived behind glass, in showrooms, fairs, and collections few ever enter. We bring that caliber of furniture, lighting, mirrors, and wall art within reach, so more rooms can hold objects with real presence. Like any collection worth keeping, they're chosen to anchor a room, not fill it.

The Making

From a sketch to a room.

Every piece here started as a drawing, and most of them argued back. The route is slower than it could be, in exactly the places that matter.
