Design as Object
Interior Moderna presents sculptural furniture and lighting conceived as spatial anchors—where function and form exist in deliberate tension.
Forms that speak. Shapes that hold a room.
Pieces that blur the line between art and living — sculptural works shaped by light, scale, and intention.
Forms that have become part of the IM world.
A curated selection of works that reflect our design language — sculptural, expressive, and shaped by light. Pieces chosen for their presence, not their popularity.

Chrome Splat
Description
Overview
Chrome Splat arrests a moment of liquid impact in polished stainless steel — a central mass of mirror-finish metal from which smaller droplets radiate outward across the wall. The surface is relentlessly reflective, capturing and warping the surrounding environment in its curved, irregular planes. Each droplet component holds its own distorted image of the room, fragmenting the space into a constellation of chrome reflections. The form suggests violence — a splash, a rupture — but the material renders it permanent, silent, and controlled. Mounted as a grouping, the piece transforms a flat wall into a dimensional field of light and distortion. The high-polish finish demands careful placement; it will mirror whatever faces it, making the surrounding architecture part of the work itself.
