Rift Opening | Obsidian Shard

Obsidian Shard is a mirror whose frame reads as excavated rather than built — acid-sculpted high-density foam given a mineral finish that absorbs light and emphasizes the textural relief of the surface. The black calcite finish creates stark tonal contrast with the reflective interior, the porous, fractured perimeter reading as geological rather than decorative.

Available in two scales, both versions hold their weight as monolithic wall objects — severe, grounded, and architectural. Part of the Aurelian Series.
