Where Matter Breaks: Ember Rupture is a circular illuminated wall composition built around a darkened ember core that diffuses outward into molten orange and gold. Hand-painted cracks form a web of fissures across the canvas, a topography that reads as both geological and atmospheric. Unlit, the surface is a dense field of layered warmth. Lit, the concealed light box ignites the fractures from within and the cracks become luminous veins. The glow expands past the frame, so the work is an ambient source as much as an object.
