Spectral Flux | Vermilion Stratum

Spectral Flux — Vermilion Stratum is a layered wall artwork constructed through depth rather than surface. The piece is composed of four stacked layers of MDF: three precision-carved layers cut with organic apertures and aligned atop one another, creating a shifting internal landscape, and a final solid layer forming the back plane. This stratified construction produces real dimensionality, allowing light and shadow to move through the composition. Finished in warm orange and red tones, the work carries a sense of contained heat and internal motion. This artwork is part of the Spectral Flux Collection, a series explored through multiple chromatic interpretations.
