Overview
Spectral Flux — Binary distills the collection to its most fundamental opposition. The composition is constructed from four stacked layers of MDF: three precision-carved layers cut with organic apertures and aligned in sequence, and a final solid back layer that anchors the form. Black and white surfaces alternate through the depth of the piece, allowing void and mass, light and shadow, to define the work without reliance on color. The result is restrained, architectural, and deliberate—an object that reads through structure rather than symbolism. This artwork is part of the Spectral Flux Collection, a series explored through multiple chromatic interpretations.
