Pigment Fields | Ember Mass
- 15-day returns
Overview
Pigment Fields: Ember Mass is a vertical wall sculpture defined by compression and heat. Its surface reads as a thermal column—layered, dense, and visibly stratified—where pigment appears to have pooled, shifted, and hardened mid-movement. Burnt orange, oxidized red, and deep umber tones accumulate in ridges and recessed valleys, creating a relief that absorbs and reflects light with deliberate variation. The form feels geological rather than decorative, as though pressure has condensed color into mass. Shadows settle into the deeper channels, intensifying the darker registers, while elevated planes catch warmth and subtle copper undertones. The result is a contained field of chromatic force—measured, architectural, and materially grounded.
