The Cargo Table Lamp brings the industrial stacking logic down to surface scale — white lacquered cylinders ascending in a disciplined column, terminating in a conical shade that redirects light upward rather than outward. The reference to maritime engineering is restrained, informing the geometry without resolving into illustration. At desk or side table height, the form reads as a considered object: the proportional sequence from base to shade registers as architecture rather than decoration. The white fabric shade with black piping edging introduces tonal precision at the crown, a detail that reads clearly at this scale. Indirect upward light washes the ceiling and returns as ambient diffusion, filling the immediate zone without exposing the source.
