Story
The Cargo Floor Lamp scales the same industrial stacking logic to standing height, where the ascending column of white lacquered cylinders acquires a room-defining vertical presence. A form that at table scale is intimate and considered becomes, at floor height, a structural anchor around which a seating arrangement can be organized. The conical shade redirects light upward at ceiling level, returning as broad ambient diffusion that fills a room without exposing the source. The white fabric shade with black piping edging holds its formal precision at this scale, introducing a tonal contrast that reads from across the room. Indirect illumination at standing height fills the upper register of a space in a way that overhead fixtures cannot reproduce — softer, more architectural, and more responsive to the character of the room. The included bulb and six-foot cord mean the lamp is operational from the moment it finds its position.
