Overview
Accumulation is a large-format relief sculpture that compresses material into a singular, concentrated mass. The surface reads as sedimented terrain—dense, layered, and visibly built through repetition. Pigment and form converge into a circular field that feels both geological and deliberate, as though pressure has gathered fragments into cohesion. The perimeter is clean and controlled, containing the internal turbulence within a precise boundary. Light moves unevenly across the ridges, intensifying shadows within recessed areas while igniting elevated fragments with saturated warmth. The work holds weight visually and spatially, asserting presence without ornament. Accumulation operates as a study in density—measured, architectural, and materially grounded.
