Chrome Relief
Overview
Chrome Relief is a circular study in controlled distortion. Hand-forged stainless steel is shaped into fluid, cresting folds that capture and fracture reflection across its surface. The form is not flat; it undulates with depth and tension, producing a dynamic interplay of highlight and shadow as ambient light moves across it. The mirrored steel behaves like liquid held in suspension—reflective, sculptural, and quietly kinetic. Mounted flush to the wall, the piece reads as a metallic relief rather than a traditional mirror, functioning as both artwork and atmospheric reflector.
