Story
The Softwing Orb Floor Lamp scales the same material logic — amber glass lens over brushed iron armature — to standing height, where the open-top aperture becomes a meaningful architectural gesture. At floor scale, the upward beam from the crown washes a larger ceiling area, returning as ambient diffusion that shapes the upper register of the room rather than concentrating warmth at surface level. The amber glass shade acquires a different character at this height: the warm tonality it imparts to the downward light is more visible against the darker lower zone of a room, producing a gradient from rich mid-level illumination to a softly lit ceiling above.
