Silova Table Lamp

The Silova Table Lamp is the compact expression of the series — the hand-blown glass shade at a scale suited to surfaces and close proximity. Each shade is individually made; no two are alike, the slight tonal variations in the glass wall a record specific to each unit. The E27 source projects through the glass as diffused warmth, the handmade material absorbing and filtering rather than transmitting cleanly. At this scale the lamp functions as a near-field object, most legible where the surface quality of the glass and the character of the light it produces can be experienced together.
