Nighttime Noblesse

Nighttime Noblesse holds two registers simultaneously: in ambient light, an HD-printed figure — composed, architectural in bearing — reads as a contained graphic work. In darkness, an embedded LED traces her features from within, and the piece shifts into something else entirely: illuminated contour, edge-lit presence, light extracted from shadow.

The transition between these states is not theatrical; it is tonal. The LED trace is a line of disclosure, not spectacle. It reveals what the print implies — a figure of restraint whose presence intensifies rather than diminishes when the room goes quiet.
