Overview
Gilded Descent is a vertical composition of illuminated strata—measured, rhythmic, and architecturally restrained. Elongated gold forms descend across a deep matte field, suspended in deliberate intervals that create tension between light and void. When illuminated, each element emits a controlled 3000K warmth, producing a refined amber glow rather than overt brightness. The contrast between the dark ground and luminous relief gives the piece a quiet monumentality. It reads as a light sculpture embedded within a panel—structured, intentional, and atmospheric.
