Kaleido Bloom

Hundreds of hand-cut paper butterflies, each one its own small color study, gathered into six concentric rings around a single suspended figure at the center. The radial geometry reads as a target, a mandala, and a slow-motion bloom all at once — order pulled out of pattern.

Built inside a deep white shadow box, the butterflies float a measured distance off the back panel. The gap is the point: every wing throws its own soft shadow, so the surface keeps changing as daylight moves across the room.

Quiet from across the room, intricate up close. It belongs above a sofa, at the head of a dining table, or anywhere a long wall deserves a focal point that rewards a second look.
