Overview
Imprint is a study in repetition and erosion. Hand-painted in layered mineral tones, the surface moves with rhythmic, almost calligraphic gestures that feel carved rather than brushed. The composition carries a quiet density—ochre, umber, and soft ash tones suspended in motion across a restrained field. From a distance, it reads as pattern; up close, it reveals depth, shadow, and painterly variation. The work holds presence without noise, grounding a space through texture and tonal warmth rather than overt contrast. It is architectural in temperament—measured, deliberate, and tactile.
