The Totem Surfboard takes a vertical form derived from the proportions of a surfboard — a narrow, organically curved plane standing upright — and treats it as a light-diffusing surface divided into three glowing sections. The HDPE body transmits warm LED illumination across its full length, reading as a luminous object rather than a lamp with a shade.

The marble base grounds the assembly with material weight at the floor plane, setting up a contrast between the organic warmth of the lit body above and the cool mineral surface beneath.
