Ted Chair

The Ted Chair sets two soft forms on a single line of metal — an ivory shag lounge chair with long looped fringe over a low seat and a floating back cushion, carried on a matte white metal sled frame. The fringe is dense and loose at once, so the chair registers as texture before it registers as furniture. The frame stays deliberately slight, leaving the upholstery to hold the room. It sits low and wide, made for a reading corner, a bedroom window or the space beside a fireplace. Ivory Cloud keeps the palette quiet enough for a pale room and soft enough to warm a hard one.
