Noma Floor Lamp

The Noma Floor Lamp belongs to a lineage of lighting that refuses the shade's conventional opacity. A body of woven iron mesh — layers of interlocked lattice forming the enclosure — lets 3000K warm white light bleed through at every point of contact, distributing warmth across walls and surfaces in a pattern the eye reads as texture rather than glare. The iron and acrylic construction is load-bearing and open simultaneously: solid enough to hold its presence in a room, porous enough to dematerialize under its own output.
